Announcing: KitchenAid Sponsorship & Giveaway!

We are excited and proud to announce that KitchenAid is a sponsor of Big Summer Potluck 3. We love them, we love their products, and we can’t wait to further familiarize you to their appliances by way of blended cocktails, waffles, and baked goods! To get this party started (and celebrate tickets going on sale), KitchenAid is giving away one of their 7-quart stand mixers in the color of your choosing! Is this a good looking appliance or what?!

This stand mixer comes in Candy Apple Red, Medallion Silver, Black Storm, and White!

To enter, simply tell us your favorite KitchenAid appliance or the appliance you’d most like to have. By the way, have you seen this awesome new appliance? Blend, chop, puree, whisk – all in one. That’s on my wish list.

Giveaway ends Monday, March 5, 2012 at 12 PM EST.

Also, while you’re at it, follow @KitchenAidUSA on Twitter and Like the KitchenAid Facebook page!

Happy Baking!

BSP3 Ticket Update

We wanted to let you all know that tickets for Big Summer Potluck 2012 will go on sale February 28 at 2:00 PM EST. Ticket price this year will be $150.00.

As a reminder, Big Summer Potluck is July 27-29, 2012. The weekend kicks off with dinner on Friday night at the home of Pam Anderson and wraps up with a waffle breakfast on Sunday morning.

Like last year, we have a room block at the Holiday Inn Express in Bethlehem, PA. Room rates are as follows: $114 for Standard Rooms and $129 for Suites. Mention the code BSP. The bus we hire will pick up attendees from this Holiday Inn Express and bring you to and from dinner on Friday night and then to and from the events at Silver Buttons Farm on Saturday.

Nearest airports:
Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) – 10 miles from hotel
Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) – 71 miles from hotel

You might also want to visit New York City for a couple days before or after Big Summer Potluck. You can fly into any of the NYC area airport and then either rent a car or carpool with local friends out to Pennsylvania (about 1 hour 40 minutes from Manhattan). There is also the Beiber Bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Hellertown, PA which drops you across the street from the hotel.

Many of you are already following us on Twitter (@thebigpotluck) but we recently set up a Facebook page, too. We’d love to connect with you there.

Hope to see you this summer!

Best wishes,
Maggy, Erika, and Pam
